Whenever Pinoy’s need to relax, hang-out, and have fun, Timezone has always been there for them. Now, after an extended period of closure, Timezone in UP Town Center UPTC) reopened last April 26, 2024 with a brand new look, updated attractions, and more of the same cozy atmosphere you’ve come to love. Now located in the 2nd floor walkway in Phase 2 of UP Town Center, Katipunan Ave., Brgy. UP Campus Diliman, Quezon City.
Since UP Town Center’s earliest days in 2013, the two storey tall Timezone UPTC has been a regular fixture in the ground floor area. Now, the store has received a timely update for a new generation of students, families, and workers, who pass by and cool off.
Several new and returning amenities include a bumper car arena, Spin Zone, 9D Warships VR rides, two function rooms, six bowling alleys, four billiards tables, six karaoke booths, photo booths, and with more on the way. Old classics like Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 RR, Tower of Tickets, and All Star Basketball Battle, are also there for anyone who wants a nostalgia trip or try their luck in beating the high scores. Several of these upgrades may seem new, but have actually been slowly implemented in various Timezone locations across the Philippines.
Walking through the new and improved Timezone brought back memories of us hanging out when we were. Gaming for hours on Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 to get our cars tuned, winning thousands of tickets in just one game, and hanging out with our friends, all of this has been preserved in this makeover. Timezone has proven itself to be a staple of the Philippine mall-going experience, and now it’s even more so in UP Town Center.
