Ready to trek back into Silent Hill? The official Konami X account has announced that the second Silent Hill Transmission will premiere on May 30 at 4 p.m. PDT (May 31, 7 AM Philippine Time) on the SILENT HILL YouTube channel. The company teases updates on the much-awaited game projects such as the Silent Hill 2 remake as well as updates on upcoming merchandise and film project.

Consider this your invitation letter to Silent Hill.

Another Transmission incoming

The first Silent Hill Transmission premiered October 20, 2022, and was the first look at several upcoming projects in the Silent Hill franchise.

Konami revealed the Silent Hill 2 remake for PS5 and PC. Developers Bloober Team are working with the original games’ creature designer, Masahiro Ito, and composer Akira Yamaoka to help recapture the original 2001 Silent Hill 2’s strong atmosphere and creepy presence.

The cinematic reboot of the Silent Hill film series is titled “Return to Silent Hill” with director Christophe Gans. Gans directed the original 2006 Silent Hill film. The plot will be based on Silent Hill 2 and feature Jeremy Irvine as James Sunderland. The upcoming Transmission promises a deeper look into the film with a good chance of an official trailer premiering.

Silent Hill Ascension was released on October 31, 2023. A unique interactive streaming series available on the official site and mobile applications via Google Play and the App Store.

Developer No Code and publisher Annapurna Interactive launched a cryptic teaser for a spinoff, Silent Hill: Townfall. No Code had developed episodic adventure-puzzle video games, Stories Untold and Observation, and looks to be a fit for the franchise.

Silent Hill f is billed as the latest entry in the series and is set in 1960s rural Japan. Al Yang, director of the game and studio creative director of NeoBards Entertainment, retweeted the news. A sign for things to come?
