PlayStation will host its next State of Play on May 30 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET, (May 31, 6 AM Philippine Time). The 30-minute broadcast will showcase 14 PS5 and PS VR2 titles, and many more PlayStation Studios titles arriving later this year. You can watch it on the official Playstation YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
The Previous States of Play
Since 2019, PlayStation has been holding an online presentation called States of Play to deliver the latest reveals and announcements. The last State of Play was on January 31, 2024. The presentation showcased Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, Silent Hill: The Short Message, and the biggest being Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Hideo Kojima also appeared at the end to announce the creation of his next game: an action-espionage game called Physint.
State of Play was also broadcast last February 6, 2024. This focused on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which was released last February 29, 2024. The 20-minute stream showcased new gameplay features such as the Bonds of Friendship system, the vast world of Final Fantasy VII, and the announcement that the demo of the game was available as soon as the stream ended.
