Marvelous Game Showcase 2024which was streamed on May 30, 2024, unveiled more details about Farmagia, Rune Factory: Project Dragon, and an upcoming Story of Seasons Game.
Planting the seeds for the future
Farmagia (previously known as Project Magia) was unveiled in full with an animated intro. A story about people and monsters working together, the game looks to release in 2024. The characters by mangaka Hiro Mashima, of Fairy Tail fame, was highlighted with a colorful cast of characters.
- Ten, the honest, bold, and act-fast-think-later, guy. (Voiced by: Kōhei Amasaki)
- Arche, a childhood friend of Ten with a competitive streak, but a kind and caring heart. (Voiced by: Ayane Sakura)
- Chica, the more reserved childhood friend though still can lead the charge. (Voiced by: Inori Minase)
- Lookie-Loo, the mascot character who always cracks jokes. (Voiced by: Atsumi Tanezaki)
Story of Seasons (previously known as Harvest Moon) was given a spotlight featuring its history since 1996. The next Story of Seasons game was teased with a presentation that shows that Marvelous is upping its visuals for the next installment. Lighting and illumination effects during nighttime was a highlight with the next game focusing on the four seasons and weather. A glider is even included! Compared to previous entries in the series, the upgrade looks to be worth it!
Rune Factory: Project Dragon was showcased again with more in-depth look. The male and female protagonists, Subaru and Kaguya, respectively, are both variations of Earthmates called Earth Dancer. Using parasols, drums, swords, and with the new bows and talismans, they look to bring a new flavor of combat into the series. A release window has not been set for the game.
