Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 update “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue” will arrive on July 31. This update also introduces two new five-star characters, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, along with an uncharted map filled with buried secrets of this silkpunk flagship. Additionally, during their special program, Honkai: Star Rail has announced its collaboration with the anime Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] set for Q3 2025.
Version 2.4 of the game introduces exciting updates centered around the Wardance ceremony and the new Shackling Prison map. Following the resolution of the Ambrosial Arbor crisis, Luofu residents are uplifted by this year’s Wardance festival, symbolizing peace and hospitality to allies. The Trailblazers, including familiar faces like Yanqing, encounter new figures such as General Feixiao and General Huaiyan.
The Shackling Prison, overseen by the Ten-Lords Commission, is a formidable new map hidden beneath Scalegorge Waterscape. It detains notorious criminals and is guarded by wolflike Borisin monsters, adding mystery and challenge for players exploring its depths.
Version 2.4 also introduces two new characters: Yunli from Xianzhou Zhuming and Jiaoqiu from Xianzhou Yaoqing. Yunli, a prodigy swordmaster, excels in Physical-Type combat with a unique Counter ability and enhances her skills after using her Ultimate. Jiaoqiu, a foxian healer, specializes in alchemical prescriptions that inflict the Ashen Roast debuff, amplifying damage over time. His Ultimate transforms the battlefield into a yuanyang hot pot, intensifying enemy debuffs and enhancing team effectiveness.
March 7th, a promising apprentice, returns to Luofu and joins Yunli and Yanqing in swordplay instruction amidst the Wardance festivities. She adapts her combat style based on her designated Shifu’s actions, accumulating Charges to enhance her attacks accordingly.
Additionally, two limited 5-star characters, Huohuo and Sparkle, will debut in Version 2.4, promising significant contributions to gameplay across different phases.
