Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 will be released on September 25. New characters Caesar and Burnice, will be playable alongside an adventure with other members from the Sons of Calydon. Meanwhile, the update will come with optimizations for the TV mode, squad preset, time, and stamina systems being implemented in this version update.
In Version 1.2, Proxies will be able to explore the Outer Ring, a barren but resource-rich area on the outskirts of New Eridu. This desolate region is marked by competition and tension among various factions. Proxies will work with Caesar, Burnice, and other members from the Sons of Calydon for a showdown with their rival, The Vanquishers, and Overlord Pompey. Caesar, the faction leader, is an S-Rank Physical Defense Agent known for her powerful shield abilities. She can provide significant damage reduction and debuff enemies when triggering Perfect Block or Defensive Assist. Burnice, another new character, is an S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent who inflicts substantial fire damage and accumulates Anomaly Buildup to burn enemies using her flamethrowers. Additionally, Red Moccus, an S-Rank Bangboo, will join the combat with a custom Bangboo motorcycle.
Version 1.2 also introduces a new time-limited arcade game, “Bizarre Brigade,” available at Godfinger. This roguelike survival shooting game allows players to unlock various characters and complete challenges. Players can further hone their combat skills through the Investigator Training Course at HIA, which offers opportunities to level up Agents and earn rewards.
The update will bring several gameplay optimizations to improve the overall experience. Players will automatically acquire Observation Data and rewards on the TV board with the help of FAIRY after their first exploration. The TV board’s presentation and animations will be enhanced for a smoother experience. Players can preset combat lineups, switch time freely, and benefit from a Backup Battery Charge to boost stamina. The update will feature events like “Overlord’s Feast,” where players can earn rewards, including the new playable Agent Lucy.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 will be available on September 25 for PlayStation®5, PC, iOS, and Android.
