Nintendo recently held its latest Nintendo Direct this June 18, 2024. The announcements celebrate the Nintendo Switch’s 7th year on the market. The company has previously stated that the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch Successor will not be shown at the livestream.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – September 16, 2024
A new 2D entry in The Legend of Zelda series. This time featuring Princess Zelda as a playable character! Strange rifts has appeared and has even taken Link! With her Tri Rod, Zelda can create echoes of objects to solve puzzles and battle enemies in her own unique way. A Zelda themed Nintendo Switch Lite will also be available.
Mario and Luigi Brothership – November 7, 2024
A new entry in the Mario and Luigi RPG franchise! This time the game will be in full 3D with stunning animations for the Bros Attacks! After Alphadream, the original developers of the game shut down, the future of the franchise was in doubt.
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake – November 14, 2024
A remake of one of the most iconic JRPGs in existence! Previously announce years ago, gameplay footage has finally been shown off. Alongside it are remakes of the rest of the ‘Erdrick Trilogy.’ Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D Remake will be released in 2025.
